Fancy Cats and Dapper Dogs

Is there anyone out there that can sympathize with the owners of these dogs? Because I can't. I have always hated dressed-up dogs, or rather, their owners.

And then, there's this. File this under, Typical Weird Japanese Stuff, or TWJS.

Comments

"1. Dress her up. Cheer or yell, do whatever you like to enjoy the moment with your family.

2. After you are enough with your joy, take a photo! Take some poses and leave her some cute photos!

3. Remove her clothes and give her a hub, say "Thank you!""

That is almost disturbing.
Correction. It IS disturbing...

Lawdy!

OK, most of those are horrendous, but as someone who walks her dog in a green glad bag when it is pouring, (if not it takes up to four bath towels to dry her) I have to at least stand up for the sweater and the drunken hooker outfits. Dogs with short hair and little dogs DO get cold. No, their fur is not enough if they are dogs from egypt for example, or have skinny little legs with no meat. One of my friends' dogs is losing all his hair through some unknown skin thing, and he shivers like the dickens unless he has a sweater on, including legs and neck, unless it is the summer. HIs outfit looks like that hooker one, but no leopard! :) And he is a black Lab. The rest are just plain bad. But anyone who would chose many of those breeds already has bad taste. (sorry doggies!)

I admit to dressing up the farm cats in doll clothes when I was about 6, but I grew out of it. Poor kitties. Cats hate things on their ears. :(

I should have stated: "practicalities aside". But even with the practicalities, does a dog really need to look like a hooker?

My cats would kick my ass if I ever dressed them up like that. Literally.

So, does this mean you'll laugh at me if I put Simba in a leather studded harness and leather booties?

Yes. That might scare the shit out of me. *auggh*
