Do something, clown
Jonathon Narcisse, founder of the State of Black Iowa Initiative, who recently wrote of a down-and-out former Des Moines-area star who now sells his body to finance his addictions."The argument in his day was that poor kids and black kids needed sports to stay out of trouble, to stay in school," wrote Narcisse. "The truth then, as it is now: We don't give a damn about these kids. They entertain us."
