Business opportunities with Quebec separation
I'm not that creative. But I do know that whenever there's a major conflict history happens before our eyes, there's an opportunity for someone somewhere. I was thinking, "What are the business opportunities that would emerge with a YES vote on a referendum?"
I have no ideas right now. Why don't you give me some?

You could start a company called 20-401 Movers. Or you could start developing land three kilometers east of Bainsville and call the development Anglobec.

I would start up a consultancy to create a governmental agency at a 'cut price' to head up a project called: "Determining who the Quebecers are".
This project would have a timeline of about 30 years.
In line with most governmental projects.
Of course the initial funding would run out after about 10 years and demand substantially more thereafter.
I'm drafting up my proposal as we speak.

Quebec will need the following in the event of independence -
1) Postal service - we won't be able to use Canada Post eventually
2) Armed forces - our troops will have to either disband or transition to the new national service.
3) A national public broadcaster to replace RadCan.
4) Domestic rail service, cargo and passenger to replace VIA and CN.
5) Monetary system if the dollar is not an option
I would imagine private companies would have to take care of this on an interim basis before it gets nationalised. Whoever is able to help the new national government set up these services stands to make a lot of money.
